English II: 17th February 2011. Pasado simple

Hi boys and girls, in our last class we talk about the Simple Past.
Afirmativa
Negativa
Formas contractas
Interrogativa
I worked
I did not work
I didn't work
Did I work?
You worked
You did not work
You didn't work
Did you work?
He worked
He did not work
He didn't work
Did he work?
We worked
We did not work
We didn’t work
Did we work?
You worked
You did not work
You didn't work
Did you work?
They worked
They did not work
They didn't work
Did they work?

Ejemplo.- Did you study last night? Yes, I did / No, I didn't.
I ran. (Yo corrí). They saw a film. (Ellos vieron una película), We went to the cinema yestereday.
Ejemplos.- We didn't go to the cinema yesterday. Did you go to the cinema yesterday? Yes, we did / No, we didn't.

I was sad. Yo estaba  triste.
He was very angry. Él estaba muy enfadado..
We were in Valencia. Nosotros estabamos en Valencia.
En las respuestas cortas sólo se utiliza el verbo to be. Ej.Were you at home on Saturday? No, I wasn't.
Afirmativa
I was -yo era/estaba
You were-  tu eras/estabas
He was-el era/estaba
She was-ella era/estaba
It was- eso era/ estaba
We were- nosotros eramos/estabamos
You were-vosotros erais/estabais
They were-ellos eran/estaban
Negativa
I wasn't
You weren't
He wasn't
She wasn't
It wasn't
We weren't
You weren't
They weren't
Interrogativa
Was I ...?
were you ...?
Was he ....?
Was she ...?
Was it ....?
Were we ...?
Were you...?
Were they ...?
